Timotei was diagnosed with leukaemia when he was 18 months old and was referred to Noah’s Ark almost immediately. We supported Timotei and his family during his treatment, helping him to enjoy life as a child, not just a patient. Timotei spent hours having fun in the Soft Play Room at The Ark and getting mucky in our Creative Room. We even helped his family enjoy visits to Legoland!
As a parent, when you see your child smile and happy, that’s the most fulfilling thing. When I tell him we are coming to Noah’s Ark he always has a big smile on his face. We all feel very safe here. – Monica, Timotay’s mum
Timotei, now six, has since completed treatment and is in remission. His last chemo session was in January and Maria, their Family Link Worker, was over the moon to receive these photos of him ringing the bell!
At Noah’s Ark we continue to provide holistic support to children like Timotei and their families for a year following the child entering remission. We are so happy to have been there for Timotei and wish him and his family lots of happy memories in the future!
