Our trained volunteers offer support to families in and around the home. This could involve playing games with children and young people, helping with homework, or carrying out practical tasks such as gardening or packing.
They can also be an extra pair of hands, helping the whole family enjoy a day out together.
The role assigned to a Home Support Volunteer is unique to each family as the Home Support Team works with families to identify what would be of benefit or which member of the family may like some extra support.
Home Support Volunteers are not able to be unaccompanied with Noah’s Ark children and young people, or to offer any medical or personal care.
All Home Support Volunteers have an Enhanced DBS clearance.
