We are delighted to announce that Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice has been shortlisted three times for the prestigious 2024 Brand Film Awards.

Two films are shortlisted in the Branded Content and Entertainment category for Most Emotional Impact, with one of the films also being shortlisted in the Purpose category for Charity/Third Sector Film.

Chief Executive Sophie Andrews OBE, said:

“We are thrilled to have been recognised by the Brand Film Awards again and are delighted that Noah’s Ark has two films shortlisted this year. Both films are a testament to the work being carried out by our charity for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families. I am incredibly proud of our outstanding team and also the remarkable families that we support. The films provide a snapshot insight into some of our work and what that work means to families, which are at the heart of everything we do.”

The Brand Film Awards

The Brand Film Awards celebrates the very best brand films from across the industry. The esteemed awards recognise outstanding creativity, storytelling, and production in the world of branded content. Designed to showcase the power of video storytelling and its ability to engage and inspire audiences. From emotional and heart-warming narratives to humorous and inventive concepts, the Brand Film Awards honour the best of the best in brand film-making.

The Most Emotional Impact category will honour the most heart-warming, emotional film created by a brand or agency. (The film can be part of a larger programme or a standalone initiative.)

Film Award Entries

Our shortlisted films focus on two themes:

  • The complexity of emotions around baby loss and grief – often taboo subjects, which are handled in a compelling and sensitive way. You can watch the film here.
  • The pivotal moment that everything changes – our From That Moment fundraising campaign film, designed to increase awareness and understanding of children’s palliative care, also explores the transformative impact Noah’s Ark has on the children and families we support. Watch the film here.

The films were created by The 10 Group, who generously delivered their work on a pro-bono basis.

Sophie added:

“Our special thanks to Andrea and Costel who allowed us to share their daughter, Nadia’s story. And also to The 10 Group who translated our ideas into a reality, to create two films that we are incredibly proud of.”

The winners will be announced on Tuesday 23rd April.
