At Noah’s Ark, we create moments for families that they will never forget. We were so pleased to be able to invite six families to The Ark to have their portrait taken by world-renowned photographer, Rankin.
Rankin has photographed many significant people over the years, including David Bowie, Kate Moss and The Queen. We may be biased, but we think his day at The Ark must have been one of the most special shoots he’s been a part of!
The photos capture those we support enjoying time together as children and families, rather than as patients and carers. As we support the entire family, we also invited siblings and grandparents to take part in these special moments.
One such moment was when Elmira and Rupert arrived with their baby Sasha and a picture of their son George, who was supported by Noah’s Ark during his life and at the end of his life. Speaking of the experience, Elmira shared: “It was so beautiful to see us together as a family of four. At Noah’s Ark,George is still alive.”
