About the event

Over 2,000 adventures will take on the fabulous Peak District as a walk, jog or a run, and all will receive the famous ‘Ultra Challenge’ support & hospitality all the way – which enables you to push yourself further and achieve something really special! From the Bakewell basecamp the full 100 km challenge heads out past Chatsworth House, and on through varied terrain on a figure of 8 route with a few testing climbs, and some stunning views.

With half (~50km), quarter (~25km) & 10 mile challenge options also available, plus optional camping packages at basecamp – there’s an unforgettable Ultra Challenge weekend for everyone in the Peaks! This event is part of the Ultra Challenge Series – 16 great events where you can walk, jog or run your chosen distance in the UK’s most iconic locations!

Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement.

By taking on a challenge event you’ll help us support over 350 babies, children and young people who are seriously unwell – helping them, and their families, to make the most of every day.
