About the event
The Edinburgh Marathon is a fantastic adventure of running through the historic and picturesque city of Edinburgh, through a blend of historic landmarks, charming streets, and scenic landscapes. The course winds its way through the heart of Edinburgh, passing iconic sites like the Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, and the famous Royal Mile. Runners not only experience the thrill of the marathon but also soak in the rich history and culture that Edinburgh has to offer. The Edinburgh Marathon is a combination of challenging stretches and rewarding vistas and every step is a celebration of the city’s charm.
By taking on a challenge event you’ll help us support over 350 babies, children and young people who are seriously unwell – helping them, and their families, to make the most of every day.
