Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice is empowering a new generation with the ‘Power of Kindness’. By creating a customised lesson plan for local schools, we aim to give back to the community that has shown us endless support.

The lesson plan, tailored to cater to different age groups (EYFS-KS4), is designed to instil the value of kindness in young minds. The plan includes an animated video, activity resources, and posters that encourage students to practice and spread kindness in their everyday lives. The lesson content is designed to reinforce the importance of being kind and spreading positivity, not just in school but also in the wider community.

The impact of the ‘Power of Kindness’ has been profound, touching the hearts of both students and teachers alike. The message of empathy, compassion, and understanding has left a lasting impression on everyone who has experienced the lesson delivery in the classroom.

Babs Williams, Pastoral Lead and Safeguarding Deputy at Manorside Primary School, said, “The assembly was informative yet child-friendly, and the tutors were awesome!”

A student shared, “Being kind is about appreciating every single individual for who they are.” The message of kindness has resonated with students, who now understand that small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice is taking steps to help create a kinder world, one lesson plan at a time. We are committed to empowering the next generation to be kind, compassionate, and understanding towards each other.
