Philip King Charitable Trust has generously supported Noah’s Ark since 2015 and we were delighted to welcome Trustee Peter Sawford to our hospice site to see how The Ark is progressing.
Peter was first introduced to Noah’s Ark by his neighbour, who was doing a Christmas carol singing collection for the charity. For the last two years, Philip King Charitable Trust has generously contributed funding towards our Head of Specialist Care and Nursing – Hayley Manley.
Hayley holds a wide range of vital responsibilities at Noah’s Ark. Managing a team of four Paediatric Palliative Care Nurses, who in turn line manage nine Specialist Carers, she provides extensive clinical training, ensuring that we meet the complex needs of the children we support.
Philip King Charitable Trust recently celebrated its ten-year anniversary with a reception, attended by Hayley and Assistant Director of Income Generation, Anthony Hayman. With our Care Team rapidly expanding, Hayley is truly appreciative of the support of the Trust:
“The generosity of Philip King Charitable Trust has helped Noah’s Ark support more babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions than ever before. I am so proud that the Trust has chosen to contribute funding towards my position at this pivotal time.”
Having visited The Ark previously before construction began, Peter spoke of meeting Hayley and the progress of the build:
“It was fantastic to meet Hayley at the ten-year anniversary reception of Philip King Charitable Trust in October. We are incredibly proud to support the work of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice and to see the amazing progress of The Ark for myself was very exciting.”

Thank you to Philip King Charitable Trust for its continued support which has played a major part in enabling Noah’s Ark to support more children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions than ever before.
