Statement on Coronavirus by Noah’s Ark
06 MARCH 2020
Sophie Andrews OBE, Chief Executive of Noah’s Ark Children's Hospice, gives the charity’s update on the Cornonavirus situation
"As a children’s hospice, every decision we take is informed by the needs of the children and families who we support. As such, with the latest advice from Public Health England in mind, we have chosen to restrict access to our new children’s hospice building, The Ark, to those receiving or delivering services to our children and families.
Our cautious approach is aimed to minimise disruption of the services we provide to children; they are a particularly vulnerable group, with many immuno-compromised.
We ask friends and supporters of the charity to pay heed to this advice. We look forward to welcoming supporters and members of our community to The Ark in the weeks, months and years ahead.”
