In March, Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice is celebrating the amazing milestones we’ve reached over the last year. We passed 10,000 supporters on social media, we now have over 100 Regular Givers, and we hosted no fewer than 43 fabulous Family Activities events. Now we’re looking to the future and what milestones we’ll be passing in 2018.
This month we will be laying the first brick at our new children’s hospice building. The Ark is growing and other building milestones will follow fast over the spring and summer. These include the timber frame being erected, landscaping the sensory gardens, kitchens being fitted and the green roof going on. It’s a very exciting time!
March also conjures up images of mad March hares feeling frisky, lambs bouncing around fields and the first daffodils sprouting up. With spring in the air it’s the perfect opportunity to join the Great British Spring Clean on 2-4 March and get rid of any unwanted items around the house.
National Conversation Week runs from 19-25 March so we’ll be looking at what we really need to be talking about in the world of hospice care.
And, most importantly, it’s Mother’s Day on Sunday 11 March. At Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice we’ll be celebrating mothers, fathers and all the carers dedicated to making the lives of those they love the best they can be and sharing precious moments.
