Our recruitment process ensures you are given an appropriate role & training and so that you can find out if this is a role you would like to undertake.  The training process for this role is as follows:

  • Volunteer Information Session: All potential volunteers must attend one of these sessions before they are able to support Noah’s Ark in any capacity.
  • Interview: This will take place at a mutually agreeable time.
  • Training & assessment sessions: This will take place at The Ark at a mutually convenient time. Training will cover how to put on/take off Mascot costume and regulations around what is expected of you whilst in role. We will give you the opportunity to make sure this role is right for you and that you are comfortable in the costume.
  • First event review: After your first event we will review how you are finding the role to discuss any concerns.
