Help us fundraise for our fully accessible 1.2km Children's Sensory Trail!
Over the past year, the great outdoors has been a place of solace for most of us, but for many of the children supported by Noah’s Ark, accessing green space presents major challenges. Most public pathways are either inaccessible, or unsuitable for wheelchairs. In addition, the hustle and bustle of public spaces can be overwhelming for many of the children we support.
In response, we are building a Sensory Garden and a fully accessible 1.2km trail around the stunning 7.5-acre nature reserve on which The Ark, our state-of-the-art children's hospice building is set.
The Children's Sensory Trail will enable children to be captivated by new sights and sounds. They’ll be able to smell the pine trees, hear bird song and feel the rough texture of the Big Oak Tree without feeling overwhelmed.
This is your opportunity to enable seriously unwell babies and children to experience and enjoy this special space. There are so many ways you can get involved - take a look at our Children's Sensory Trail resources below to help you get started with your fundraising. . .
