Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice presents a special screening of Paddington 2, followed by a celebrity Q&A with Peter Capaldi, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Jessica Hynes, Madeleine Harris & Samuel Joslin at the beautiful Everyman Cinema in Muswell Hill.
Peter Capaldi is an actor, director, and writer and plays Mr Curry, the mean spirited next door neighbour to the Brown family in our special screening of Paddington 2. Peter is most well known for his portrayal of the twelfth incarnation of the Doctor in the extremely popular BBC drama Doctor Who.
Sanjeev Bhaskar is an actor and writer and is best known for his work in the BBC Two sketch comedy series Goodness Gracious Me and is star of the sitcom The Kumars. Sanjeev plays Doctor Jafri, another one of Paddington’s neighbours in the 2017 live action animated comedy film, Paddington 2.
Joining Peter and Sanjeev is Jessica Hynes. Jessica plays Miss Kitts in the film; the local news seller who is never without her parrot friend Feathers. Jessica is an actress and writer and was one of the creators, writers and stars of the British sitcom Spaced.
We will also be welcoming Samuel Joslin and Madeleine Harris – who return to Paddington 2 as brother and sister Jonathan and Judy Brown – to our special screening. You may recognise Madeleine and Samuel from the original Paddington film back in 2014.
The much anticipated sequel to the worldwide hit family film, finds Paddington happily settled with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens. Paddington has become a popular member of the local community and is content spreading joy and marmalade wherever he goes. After picking up a series of odd jobs to buy the perfect present for his Aunt Lucy’s 100th birthday, he notices the gift has been stolen. But who? Why? Where? It’s up to Paddington and the Browns to unmask the thief.
Thank you to our fantastic partnership with Everyman Cinemas, all profits from the screening will go directly towards Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice. Buy your tickets here:
