Gill Dodge – CEO
Gill joined Noah’s Ark in August 2005, realising a long held desire to apply her abilities within the ‘not for profit’ sector. Having spent 20 years in the commercial healthcare arena (- the 5 years preceding her move, as a director in a global team at GlaxoSmithKline), she brings to Noah’s Ark a breadth and depth of experience in organisational management and development, financial, marketing and sales disciplines – much sought after skills in the highly competitive charitable sector.
Gill believes that it is people that make things happen – her ability to inspire, motivate and build teams to deliver goals will be a key driver of the organisation’s future success.
Susan Staples – Office and Projects Manager
Susan joined Noah’s Ark in December 2006. Having spent 15 years in the commercial sector working for a variety of companies, her wide breadth of experience has been obtained within the marketing departments of some well known blue chip companies. Susan brings many talents to Noah’s Ark, including great organisational skills, a knowledge of PR and marketing and a love of design – clearly evident in the Charity’s website and literature. Sue has helped the Charity embrace the internet, having established various new ways of marketing Noah’s Ark and generating new funds.
Polly Hind – Volunteer Co-ordinator, Family Support Programme
Polly joined Noah’s Ark in January 2008 to set up a new Family Support Volunteer Programme. She has extensive experience in the voluntary sector with her previous role being Volunteer Co-ordinator with Norwich and Norfolk Voluntary Services. During this time she recruited and managed volunteers and worked closely with Health and Statutory Services. Polly was so keen to join Noah’s Ark that she uprooted herself and her partner and moved to North London from Norfolk to take up the post! She is an enthusiastic professional and is excited at the prospect of being involved at the beginning of a new service for Noah’s Ark.
Diane Parry – Fundraising Manager
Di joined Noah’s Ark in January 2008 to bring further focus on developing partnerships with local businesses and corporates and building income from grants and trusts. Prior to joining Noah's Ark she worked for the Toybox Charity which supports street children in Latin America – during which time Di had the opportunity to spend a couple of weeks ‘on the ground’ in Guatemala. Her earlier career was as a Management Consultant specialising in psychometric testing and then she turned a hobby into a job and taught drama for the years that her daughter was growing up (a skill that is evident when involved in role plays or presentations!). Di’s mission is to build constructive two-way relationships with our supporters, for the long term.
Punyapriya Singh – Events and Community Fundraiser
Punyapriya is our longest serving fundraiser, having joined in March 2007. She brought valuable fundraising experience – in her last role having worked as a London Regional Fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Priya’s enthusiasm is contagious – her ability to engage with individuals and groups and inspire them to support the Charity pays dividends! She is a highly disciplined organiser and, to use her own words, ‘likes to drive a good bargain’!
Lorraine Feldman – PR Officer (freelancer and volunteer)
Using her professional background, Lorraine has helped Noah’s Ark since the beginning of 2007, enabling us to start to build productive relationships with the local media. Significantly increased coverage has resulted and good progress made towards a continual media presence. Lorraine’s passion for our cause extends to volunteering her time to help with events and administrative duties. Most recently, Lorraine is looking to develop contacts with high profile individual who would be interested in supporting Noah’s Ark.
