Specialist Play Worker
Noah's Ark is a fast growing Children's Charity offering support
to life-limited and life-threatened children and their families in
North London. We are seeking to recruit two new posts into our
Specialist Play Team - a full time Specialist Play Worker and a
part-time Specialist Play Worker - individuals who have the ability
and drive to enhance our Therapeutic Play work, which is a highly
valued aspect of our care service.
Working independently in the community, the post holders will
deliver consistently high standards of therapeutic play and be
totally committed to the ethos of Noah's Ark and our
family-centered approach to care. With the rest of the community
outreach team, you will work closely with our statutory and
voluntary partners in delivering an integrated play service to
life-limited/life threatened children and their siblings. You will
also offer bereavement support to siblings and be involved in
developing skills in play amongst our Volunteers, Specialist Carers
and the rest of the Noahs Ark team.
These roles will deliver a Play service across the boroughs of
Barnet, Enfield, Camden, Islington and Haringey. Successful
candidates must be willing to work across the whole of our
catchment, thereby allowing Noah's Ark to deliver a flexible and
responsive service, based on families' needs.
You will benefit from the support of a dedicated, enthusiastic
and motivated Noah's Ark team, 1:1 supervision and peer support
groups, flexible working and attractive rates of pay. Your dream
job may be just a phone call away!
