FUNdraising

As other children’s hospices have found, we’ve embarked a long journey to establish our vision – it may take years to achieve our goal of a comprehensive hospice service.

We need to raise the initial funds to start a hospice service, acquire a site and complete the build – probably in the region of Ł10 million! As with other hospices we will then require around Ł2.5 million per year running costs. All this money must be raised via charitable support as we receive no money from Government.

As the saying goes, “From small acorns Oak trees grow”! It needn’t take a lot to make a huge difference; there are so many ways you can help by just doing things in a slightly different way.

Here are just some of the individuals and groups who have chosen to FUNdraise for us – now, can you see anyone not having FUN?

if you buy Gift Vouchers for birthday or Christmas presents, why not do it online at www.days.org.uk and they will donate 3% of whatever you buy to us
if you've got things to sell and you fancy supporting the charity, then have a look at www.missionfish.org.uk which helps charities raise money on eBay
