At Noah’s Ark we have a vision of a service that begins with in-home support and grows to include in-house hospice care – with the types of support we develop guided by placing the needs of the children and families at the heart of our thinking. We still have a long way to go to achieve our goal – but with your help we can make it happen.

The last 3 years have been a very exciting time for the Charity – most importantly realizing the beginning of our community outreach work. We still have a long way to go – but this is a cause worth fighting for. We know:
- Families are not currently receiving the level of services they need
We have spent considerable time defining and understanding the needs of life-limited children and their families living in our catchment. There is a cross agency consensus that a children’s hospice service would significantly impact on care – working in partnership to complement existing support.
- These families do not have the gift of time – they need our help now
We want to ensure that we have the resources to secure the delivery of our development plan and to do this as fast as we can.
Having had the privilege to meet some of the families we are trying to help, their courage and determination to do the best for their children shines through. The team at Noah’s Ark does not lack passion and persistence – we have a clear vision of what needs to be done. We cannot change the reality of the premature death of these children. We need the necessary resources to walk with them on their journey, to give families the support they need to live positive lives and face the future with hope. I hope you will feel able to help us create a sustainable service for them.
Gill Dodge - CEO, Noah's Ark Children’s Hospice
