Theresa Villiers
In the summer of 2007, Theresa confirmed
her desire to formalise her association with Noah's Ark and become
a Patron.
Theresa is Minister of State for Transport and Member of
Parliament for Chipping Barnet. Having grown up in North
London, and now living in Arkley, Theresa has, for many years,
campaigned on important local issues for Barnet, including efforts
to improve local hospitals and schools.
"Over the last few years I have seen Noah's Ark Children's Hospice
strengthen their supportive role to families living within North
London who, for 24 hours each day, care for a life-limited child,
whilst coping with all the other day-to-day challenges that family
life brings."
"My decision to become Patron was based on the belief that, given
support from the local community, they can make a huge difference
to these families. I am delighted to be involved with such a
young yet vibrant organisation."
